this vid was done by Michel Gondry [director of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and the Science of Sleep] using lots and lots of stop motion capture filming and tireless prop repositioning coupled with computer fx for layering and so forth. awesome video, yes. this guy also did the Stripe's video for "Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground" which is my favorite from him.
