you ever go somewhere and someone tells you something and you're confident they lied to you?
I'm in Orlando for a business trip and so I call Bethel and find out where there's a bookstudy nearby, I drive to the hall, arrive at 7:30 - just as they are starting the Ministry School.
Me: Uh, excuse me, is there a bookstudy here?
Brother: Uh ... no. This is the ministry school.
Me: Is there a bookstudy though?
Brother: Uh .. no.
After the meeting:
Brother: It's nice to meet you - glad you were able to come to our meeting.
Me: So when can I go to the bookstudy?
Brother: Thursday - there's one here at the hall, in a small building out back, we call it "the depot".
Me: So - was there a bookstudy out there tonight?
Brother: Uh - no.
I totally feel cheated.

That is kind of different, with the "small building out back" deal. Sorry but, it'd be really wrong if the bookstudy had secretly been going on and they were like "No NOPE, nothing back there tonight." lol!
