so our family lawyer (criminal/family law) was saying that he had a case in which a young lady got pulled over because she had window tint on the front windows of her car (which was illegal - or so i thought) so as he's giving her the ticket he notices items in her back seat. she had crystal meth, scales etc...like everything she needs to be selling. anyway they take her in etc. she then gets our family lawyer to represent her.

so they're in court, our lawyer calls the officer to the stand asks him "what is the legal percentage of tint one is allowed to have by law on car windows" (or whatever) the cop was so assured & said "its illegal to have tint on your 2 front windows in CA" he then proceeded w/the questions then called a glass/tint expert to the stand and the expert said that its legal to have 30% shading on the windows and showed documentation.

anyway....cause of that ONE technicality the girl was released! can you believe how this system works, they didnt care about the drugs they found, only the fact that the cop pulled her over for a tinting ticket and he was in the wrong. LOL
