anyone dual boot vista with ubuntu? I think i might like to do this just to prove that i can. once i've done it, where's the advantage of using ubuntu? is it pretty?

Yes I have. It's really pretty, and customizable, and tech savvy and all those cool geek things. But if you don't want to waste your time fiddling with something, seriously, don't get it. There will always be something you just want to work, and it won't be there, and you'll end up frustrated. Just my opinion though.
