Did you guys hear about that bridge collapse in Minneapolis?
so crazy.

think that could ever happen to the GWB?
from now on i'm only taking the tunnel
tunnels scare me way more than bridges do. i'd rather be falling INTO water, then trapped UNDER water.
I like to think they inspect the integrity of the GWB often
Yeah, I wouldn't worry as much about the GWB. Suspension cable bridges are much stronger than the one in Minneapolis.
Oh man..I heard about this but I had to stop reading and looking at the pictures. My greatest fear, for some reason, is having my car go off a bridge into water.
I just heard on the news this morning that NJ ranks 34 on bridge safety
Doesn't surprise me. A lot of these bridges were built in the 30's and 40's.
My dad was telling me about something he read about the Tapanzee bridge and how, when they built it, it was only supposed to have a fifty year live span. Yeah, well it was built in 1952 so no one go to Connecticut!
uhm the tapp connects rockland county to westchester county.
you might want to find another way to Connecticut though. maybe take the GWB to 87North to 95, or just take the GWB to 95. Or I guess you could take 287 to 87North to 84 (by Newburgh).
Long live Connecticut!
I know it connects parts of NY but that's how I always get to Conn. People actually go to Westchester county?
if they want to see patrick paro they do
Hey, I live in CT! They're actually reinforcing the tappan now. It's better than 95 through the bronx, which is always trafficy.
