Has anyone had indian food? i've never had it and we're going to an indian restaurant this weekend that has gotten outstanding reviews from a lot of people. Suggestions on what to get??
i lov eindian food. for a first time eater anything followed by tandoori or vindaloo you'll probably like. the tandor is the special oven they use to cook that mostly makes the meat red but tender and juicy. vindaloo is this mildly spicy sauce. almost like curry. but read the menu and ask the waiter becuase the spiciness definetely varies restaurant by restaurant. i love spinach saag. to drink lassi's are delicious yogurt drinks made with fruit. malaka tea is like this spiced chair boiled with milk so its super thick.
great! thanks!
Indian food drives me crazy. It smells terrible (IMHO) and people are always saying to me "you'd like Indian food if you came with to such-and-such restaurant, ours is the best!"
NEWS FLASH - everyone says "come with me to such and such restaurant, it's the best" and they ALL smell terrible!
i usually go and eat the bread and complain
okay, i won't let Austin read this comment because he is very unhappy about us going. He went to an Indiana restaurant and he said he ordered a $28 lobster dinner and it came out in a bowl covered in curry. he was not happy. But i've coherched him into going, cuz this place will be better. (Hopefully!)
you coherched him? that sounds like you laced his coffee with a date rape drug or something
HAHAHHA, that made me laugh out loud. Yup, i slipped him a roofie, and force fed him curried goat.
when a girl says she COERCED a guy it means she bought him with sex!
Yeh, I love Indian Food. I always order Lamb Tikki or the closest to it with like a peanut sauce. Generally any lamb entree. Get some Naan bread if not included in your order with a chutney and a curry. Samosas are good for an appetiser or side.
