haha my bro-in-law and his siblings refer to their parents as "my mom" & "my dad" when they talk to ea other and they DO have the same mom and dad. LOL

haha, that's the opposite of the weirdness people do here. When people talk to you about their mom or dad, they say..."mom is coming at 12" they don't say MY mom. It really irks me.

And something weird that me and my bro & sis do is that when we are talking ABOUT my parents we say mommy said, or daddy said. haha. but we never call them that when we're talking to them. They're Dad, Mom or "Ma".

awww....we still call our dad "daddy" LOL even my oldest sis whos 50 still calls him that. but when we're mad at them it changes to "mother" and "father" or "mami" or "papi" which they HATE! lol
