hey i still have my new pants i'm saving!

tesoro tesoroOG 2001

Just wear them. The only thing i can save is a formal dress for a wedding. I can't buy, like a pair of jeans for an event more than a week in the future. haha

superhero superheroOG 2004

they're super cool. Gina hooked it up, let me tell you.

I cleaned out my closet this weekend. I got so mad, frustrated, and angry at myself for not doing this sooner. I threw out over 100 hangers that were in there for no reason. I organized my clothes (suits together, pants, etc) and took out all my summer clothes (polos, tee shirts, etc). I even threw out a shirt I've had from the GAP since 8th grade that I loved and wore all the time.

Gotta move on with life. I found some new clothes that still had the tags on for like 5 years, that's why I bring this all up. I gotta wear them.

tesoro tesoroOG 2001

No way! i cleaned out my closet too, last night. I do this once every 3 months probably, and i always have a huge box of stuff to give to people or goodwill. One thing i don't think i'll ever give up is all my old band t-shirts, even though i never wear them.

superhero superheroOG 2004

some of mine i'm embarrassed to wear (ok, matchbox twenty ones).

I have a Save Ferris one that I've worn one time. It's beautiful.

i also have a Jay Karas Band that says on the back "Snack Night at the Bookstudy Rules!"

jp jpOG 2003

hahaha thats awesome. you should wear that regularly. although whats with this NY lingo...it's "goodie night."

tesoro tesoroOG 2001 jp

originalsnob originalsnobOG 2004

HAHA I LUV THAT SONG! Sometime I walk around singing it, completely unprovoked =P

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003

the song was good about 5 years ago. the high pitched part was cool til he went even MORE high pitched to do the girl part:

"i got two tickets to iron maiden, baby. come with me friday don't say maybe. i'm just a teenaged dirtbag, baby, like you. errrr yaaaa, dirtbaaaaagg."

that's when i snap the song off.

malibu malibuOG 2001

hey how was the indian restaurant you guys went to? did your husband hate it?

tesoro tesoroOG 2001

actually, both couples we had plans with bailed, so we did too. But with promises that we all would try it together, so when we go i'll let you know.

but on the topic of strange food, we were in DC this weekend, and went to this restaurant called Cafe Atlantico and we had some of the strangest foods ever. It was tapas style and we tried 14 dishes all together from raw oyster w/ mango to raw tuna ceviche, conch fritters, caviar with potato foam, duck, quinoa. really really interesting stuff. overall, it was an usual and good experiance but we'd never eat some of this stuff again.

tesoro tesoroOG 2001

i found the menu online....

socalgal socalgalOG 2003

caviar w/potato foam? WOW....how was that?

tesoro tesoroOG 2001

the potato part was really good, neither of us cared for the caviar. I wonder sometimes if people REALLY like this stuff or they're just trying to be sophisticated. haha

socalgal socalgalOG 2003

its weird but there are peeps who actually LOVE it. one of my old friends growing up, her dad LOVED caviar....always had it around the house. it was nasty to me.
