it makes me glad that a 14 year old could stand up to that kind of pressure from his parents, to do what's right
i always wonder how i would react if that was me, and everyone was pressuring me - i know it would be hard to do the right thing
you ever hear stories of how someone's in the hospital and the nurses will whisper at like 2 AM "just take the transfusion, we won't tell anyone" ... man.
Just goes to show his Aunt did a good job in making Jah real to him. That's why its important for parents to study with their kids.
so true. and equally important for all family members to study together.
you can pretty much tell the kids in the hall who have family study and the ones who don't. (not always, but for the most part).
That would be my family while I was growing up. Very dysfunctional household. All I can do is not let that be repeated now that I run my own household.
that happened w/linda. her blood count was down to a 2, she was dying and when no one was around, in the middle of the night or they were cleaning her wounds they'd whisper, "come on linda, dont you want to live? just take the blood we PROMISE we wont tell anyone" when she told me that it just made me sick and creeped.
