babies freak me out.
I like toddlers. they can walk and not poop themselves.
Really? Last time I checked toddlers wore diapers.
toddlers dont wear diapers. lol maybe while they're being toilet trained they wear the pull-ups but thats it.
A toddler is a kid that starts walking until approximately 3. I had two of them. ;oP They weren't potty trained until age 3. Neither was in pull-ups (which is a diaper just not tabs) until about 2.
um, dont most kids walk at 1-ish? i have 11 nieces and nephews and 4 GREAT nieces and nephews. i've been an aunt since i was 8. so i've been around kids ALLLLL my life.
anyway all have started walking about 1 or sooner. it must be an east coast thing for your kids then. lol
and pull ups are "potty training" chonies.
i think he means toddler = when they start walking, so, yes, around 1, until about 3 years old
and yes i just agreed with brotherman
haha
but they usually ar not toilet trained until about 3. which is a nightmare, 3 years of diapers... no wayyyyyy haha
must be an east coast thing then. lol
what? i don't get. it. toddler = 1-3 year olds... not that they don't WALK until 3 years old but they are considered a toddler until 3?
i think that's what he's saying? Isn't that true?
haha
i'm confused
Toddler is a common term for a young child who is learning to walk or "toddle", generally considered to be the second stage of development after infancy and before childhood occurring predominantly during the ages of 12 to 36 months old.
i'm even more confused
hahaha im not arguing the toddler age at all. im saying its different to me that a toddler doesnt walk until 3 or is potty trained. all the kids i've been around have been potty trained by two years the latest...and walking no later than a year. rarely pushing 2 years old. thats what i mean
*and NO offense to my boy broman either. its just that i've had a different experience
oh yeah i agree with that, walking by 1, talking by 2, potty trained by 1 month please.. haha
What's the confusion here? LOL!
I said a toddler ranges from the time they first walk, which is usually around 12 months, until age 3. Potty training usually begins at 2, but they don't master the concept usually until age 3. Depends on the kid. I've heard of 2 yr olds being potty trained. That's not very common though.
yeah i think you were both saying the same thing only saying it different ways
basically what i'm saying is that children do not develop any slower or faster on the east coast vs. the west coast i think G just misunderstood what you were saying??
I guess so.
i think i did. ADD dudes. lol
you know whats GROSSS moms b-feeding the toddlers. they're like 5 years old and feeding off the mom. BLECK. i've seen this a few times walking into a restroom at the mall and OMG you're like "WHAT THE..."
I know this is really strange, but we know a mom who potty trained all 3 of her kids at 6 months. Obviously they can't walk, but a few minutes after feeding them, she would sit them on the toilet, so as soon as they were walking, at 1 year or so, they were sitting on the kiddie potty. weird, but cool huh?
Man, if i could cut out 1.5 years of changing diapers, i might give it a whirl. haha
