Ok, so I'm kind of alarmed. Sometimes when I overdo it with my surgically repaired knee, I'll be hurting for a few days but will feel fine after that. Early last week I was running on the treadmill at the gym. I felt slight discomfort while doing it, but didn't really feel anything till the next day. I was limping noticably for a few days after. Well a week and a half later there's still pain. I can tell it's not any muscle or ligaments. I know it's the joint. I'm afraid I may have torn some cartilige. Problem is, the last time I thought I tore cartilige, the doctor couldn't tell since the miniscus area was scoped and he couldn't see any tears because of the track marks from surgery back in 2000. I'll give it another week and then see him if the pain is still there. It sucks when you injure yourself. The area in question is never the same after that.
so is there anything they can do to help you? *should the pain not go away
It sounded like all he could do is do arthoscopic surgery. The X-rays don't allow him to see the joint properly. He'd have to go inside to see. At least... That is what he told me the last time. I'll just rest it for now.
dude, you should still be going easy on ur knees... you should try swimming or something thats less impact...
Yeah well, I was trying to be He-Man. I can't do anymore high impact stuff. I'll stick to the bike.
have you tried the treadclimber? thats really easy on the knees
Yeah, I used to use it.
isnt that the best machine?
I think its great, but for whatever reason I started using the treadmill and that led to my current injury. Dumb Dan... Haha...
