I'm back. I hit a huge deer on the way to work. My car is crushed sardine tin. This is horrible.

I wasn't hurt which is the important thing I try to comfort myself with. At least I'm alive and wasn't injured. The deer was huge and came out of nowhere as they usually do. My car doesn't look drivable, but is. But, makes me sick to my stomach to think about the repairs bill that will come of it. Didn't make it far on my way to work & not a good time for me to be missing work days. I guess its just one of those things tho... I'll have to cope.
so so so so sorry to hear about your accident.. and i'm so glad you're ok, deer are so dangerous to hit :( keep us posted on how you're feeling and the car situation
Oh gosh, seriously, hitting a deer is one of my worst fears. I always think about that when i'm driving down a dark wooded road.
