why no CD-ROM drive? seriously? What if this was your only computer? I guess you could get a USB CD drive ... but for watching a movie on a plane, that makes no sense.
And no replaceable battery? What about in a year and a half when the battery lasts 5 minutes? I kind of understand in a $199 ipod, but in a $1799 laptop, that is ridiculous.
Seriously though, that multi-touch thing is sweet.
I can see where they're going with that, removing the dvd-drive. I mean, I would much rather go without carting discs around. Just load up your movies onto the hard drive. And with the rentals on iTunes, it looks like they're really making a play for that.
They say on there that the battery isn't replaceable? Uhhhhh that sucks.

rentals on itunes in place of a DVD drive = lame. like i'm going to rent movies i already own to watch on a trip? or i'm going to buy a new dvd of a movie i already own just to get it in iTunes format?
