Right now I'm reading a book called "The Know it All" (or something like that) written by a guy who reads the entire Encyclopedia Britanica. It's somewhat interesting, but I'm looking forward to his other book, about his quest to live entirely by the bible for one year. I've picked up the book already from the library, I just gotta find time to sit down and read it.
I've also been reading a book called "The Secret History of Star Wars", which is about all the places George Lucas stole stuff from. It's an free online-book only, but I downloaded the PDF, unlocked it, and have been reading it on my iPod Touch using iSilo. Reading on an iPod Touch is kind of a strange experience, but it's nice to read any time I have a spare 5 minutes or so.
i read the book about the encyclopedia and i loved it. especially the section dedicated to small words to make everyone win at scrabble. i've used them to much hatred of my opponents. i just love all the random facts. and how seriously he takes it. so good. and i didn't know about this bible sequel. i'm gonna look into that.
i thought it was good - not great. at some points, I was somewhat annoyed by his writing style. i liked reading about how he went back to 4th grade, met Alex Trebek, and went on "Who Wants to be a Millionare".
I'm going to try and start Living Biblically this weekend.
so i read living biblically today. and the whole time i was just thinking of if he was gonna talk to some j-dubs and i was so pumped when he did. what'd you think?
