Matt, I used Magix Movie Edit Pro 11. Magix is a decent starter suite and very budget friendly. There are a few really good ones out there but, I'd personally like to get my hands on Vegas, Premiere, or ideally IMovie (macs only):(
i have a mac, I've used imovie, and it's okay, but it doesn't have a ton of functionality. It's cool that it comes for free with a new mac though. I have final cut pro, and it's really awesome, but I don't really know how to use it all that well. I'm kind of just muddling my way through it
Originally I didn't think that iMovie had a ton of functionality either but I've seen a few pieces produced with it, so I'm curious what I could do with it.Oooooooooooo *eyes widen* Final Cut Pro *bats eyes* I have heard legends... But seriously if you wrap anything soon using fc post it :)
David Fincher used Final Cut Pro to edit his last film Zodiac. It's SERIOUS. I've toyed with it. It's a little out of my league.
