We had to move because we couldn't get Matt's former roommate to sign the lease papers....plus that wouldn't have been exactly honest. If I signed the lease papers with Matt, we'd have to renegotiate the lease, and Matt and his wife would have to renegotiate again once I left. Understandably too much of a pain to pursue. So, Matt checked out this place in Stanhope and signed the lease to the new place (that I didn't want to move to, because it was too pricey, and had a weird layout). He spoke to his wife on that friday. She expressed the same concerns as me, so they prayed about it, and he called King's Village. King's allowed him to sign the lease himself without renegotiating the price and without his former roommate's signature. Then the next day the land lord of the new place called and said he couldn't have the apartment anymore because the girls living there can't move out now. So he was out of the lease, and we're back to just living where we've been living. No move necessary! Thanks to Jehovah.
