meeting on line and talking is one way to meet, but i think you need to spend MORE, much, much more time in person w/ them than online to get the real picture. Talking is a good way to get to know someone, but real life is the best way.
I totally agree. When Mike and I started dating, we met in person, then spent a lot of time talking online cause it was convenient. Then we tried to spend a lot of time together, sitting around talking. We would always joke that after a couple months we were an old married couple. Though we learned a lot through talking, I think I learned the most about him after spending lots of time with him in real life situations: going on vacation, going grocery shopping, seeing him when he worked, out in service, at the meetings, hanging out with others, etc.
