always wanted to read the glass elevator...anyone read it? it's by one of my fav authors who wrote james and the giant peach

I read james and the giant peach as a kid, I loved it, even though its a kid's book its pretty gritty with death and poverty, it was great.
i had a gigantic peach before. i cut it up with a very sharp knife and i was very happy to consume it's ripe juicy goodness.
