i used to do that all the time, the best way to dry them out is leave your car running with heat on full blast for like an hour or more. it does more then the hair dyer could believe me.

My mother used my car once and left the sunroof open. She didn't realize that she had left it open until about 1/2 into a heavy storm. I had 2 inches of water in my car. I ended up renting one of those shot vacs from home depot. my car's never smelled the same.

definitely get it shampooed. what's it cost, like 65 bucks. your car will smell new. and people will be impressed when they get in it. (i'm not saying they aren't impressed now. but, you know.)
