I think it depends a lot on whether you started out as friends. If you just jump right into dating someone, without really being their friend first, then you can't go back to something that you never had. But if you were good friends with the person, I think that it would be a little bit easier to get that back after some time.

skaorsk8 skaorsk8OG 2002

you know what i hate...when you're OBVIOUSLY dating someone...and you talk about it with the person...and they try to pretend you're just friends...WHY...WHY do people do that...i see some friends i have, they like eaach other, hang out every weekend, and try to hide that they like each other...stupid...

ilikebirds ilikebirdsOG 2002

togatweeter togatweeterOG 2003

lol just jokey

tesoro tesoroOG 2001

i was talking to my friend the other day about this...this definatly happens alot more in the truth, the "fake dating". b/c when you're a witness there's so much more pressure when you're dating to get married and some dont want that on them, so they'll just say they're not dating..where as in the world...people dont really care so they'll just date and see what happens.

skaorsk8 skaorsk8OG 2002

yeah..i love how you say "my friend" because it's obvious you only have one.

anyway, it's stupid. yes. and people will do it anyway. sometimes they do it with girls who are 16. that's just wrong.

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003

it's, uh, never good to do it with girls who are sixteen..

walkngplaygrnd walkngplaygrndOG 2003

i have to disagree bri . . .

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003

well, stat, maybe you'd like to get passed around the cell block like a peace pipe. fish, we'll call you fish..

tesoro tesoroOG 2001

well, are the guys 16? or 25?...we'll evalute the degree of "wrongness". haha j/k i know what you mean.

btw did you sit on that bench all night last night? it had a danhill impression in it.

skaorsk8 skaorsk8OG 2002

jay79 jay79OG 2001

forrestina forrestinaOG 2002

tinser tinserOG 2002

malibu malibuOG 2001

haahah. some people i know when they get asked if they're dating say "we're friends with a future."

walkngplaygrnd walkngplaygrndOG 2003

a few of my favorites are: "friends with expectations", "friends with benefits", and "special friends" - which all mean NOTHING really

malibu malibuOG 2001

i definetly friends with benefits means something.

walkngplaygrnd walkngplaygrndOG 2003

perhaps so - but what? I'm just saying that in the end, they're all hiding something anyway . . . I'm just saying though . . .

malibu malibuOG 2001

well maybe if they are hiding it its because its not some persons business to know it. :P

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003 malibu

why are you protecting friend with benefits!? hmmm

Is it all right if all your friends have benefits?

bozo bozoFounder

yeah.... neither person want commitment but they each want what the others got and alot of it

walkngplaygrnd walkngplaygrndOG 2003

A classic in my book was when two of my friends were asked, "are you guys together?" i believe their response was "we're seeing each other" or something like that. Of course I laughed hysterically because it was a question they always try to avoid, and someone just sprung it on them unannounced . . . but i'm pretty sure they're actually "dating" now . . . i'm sure they'll correct me if i'm wrong

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003

YES, thats all sorted out now! thanks, man! thank you! no, really...
