i say you can't be the judge of anyone, but of course you have to make the decision who you are going to hang out with. to do that you have to get to know the person, if you think that they are bringing you down, and they are negative about stuff... or they just really don't seem to care about representing the truth in a positive way, then it's probably not a good idea to tie yourself to that. on the other hand, if you think that you can help them out without hurting yourself, then more power to ya. the only thing you have to remember is, that the watchtower even said that the truth is not completely association, like you can't bring someone into the truth simply by befriending them, they have to make it their own.
