this makes perfect sense cuz i try to help my little sister learning to read and my mind just automatically reads these words like cat, hat, sat and trying to help her sound them out is so difficul...

no i think they're so intelligent. they are trying to teach little kids to do something that their brain no longer does. like sounding things out and such.
