Im a desktop publishing freak. I hate it when people space 500 X's in documents instead of tab, or hit enter enough times to get to the next page instead of entering a page break. I hate it when people have multiple margins on the same page inexplicably, or when when people format in a counterintuitive way (like underlining the title and bolding and italcizing the subheadings). I dont' like it when people scan images and don't crop properly. Its obsessive. At work, when people email me a document (pdf's, doc's, jpegs. it doesn't matter) I have to fix it before I can even do my thing with it. A woman last week me ask me to reformat a chart for her last week, and it took me an hour just to remove all the spaces! Course, she ended up paying me $15. But still.
