this book actually wanst written to describe the actual levels of hell. in fact, the three books (about hell, [urgatory & heaven) were written to describe the revolutionary future of the three main social gruops under afuture idealistic communist or socialist setting. those of upper class would descend to the bottom "hell", and the poor would be elevated to "heaven", while the middle class would linger in the middles, or "purgatory".
