j/k,its snowing like crazy here, I'll take the rain anyday.
Except that in southern California rain pretty much prevents you from doing anything since you really do not want to be on the road with people who have no idea that you have to drive differently when it's raining.
ever drive in SNOW? waaay more dangerous.esp. black ice, u cant see it. but drive on it, and wheeeeeeeeee, smash! there goes ur car, somebody elses, and maybe a chain reaction.
I don't understand how people can't see black ice! I can always see it..it makes the road look a lot blacker then it normally is (like not dirty).
I haven't driven in snow, but I've been in the car when other people have, and while I agree that it is potentially much more dangerous, I don't think you understand my point. Driving in rain in southern California is almost as dangerous as driving in snow back East because people do not slow down or stop tailgating just because it's raining. In fact, there are probably just as many accidents in San Diego when it's raining as there are accidents back East when it's snowing.
thats how Nicole totaled her car-driving in the rain here. last week. tailgating. tonight she almost spun out on the ice.(in the new car) *sigh*.
i dont think so, people are morons here too, and dont realize to drive slower when its snowing...esp SUV's...i saw a beamer suv that drove right off the rode and get stuck in a ditch because he didnt realize, suv's dont brake any better then other cars with antilock brakes
