wow!! that is SOOOOOOOOOOO rough!! something similiar happened to me, they post on the email list everyone's birthdays for the month and then once a month have a big party for everyone, so this month, everyone's like come on! come in!! we gotta sing happy birthday to you! so that was pretty rough, but at least it wasnt in front of a whole bunch of people!!
