oooh, way too short notice. dead meadow is awesome. never really heard super fuzzy animals.
I didn't just post this event. I put it up at the beginning of the week & I don't think anyone noticed.. well, it's not like anyone knows these guys anyway..
But, it's actually a free show.. no ticket needed.
Super Furry Animals are a really good rock group from Wales, with hints of psych & folk. Also check out FFA Coffi Pawb (But, if Welsh singing irritates you - it's not for everybody - then I guess just listen to the Super Furry songs with English lyrics).
Andy Votel is really good. He started the Twisted Nerve record label with Badly Drawn Boy I think. My guess is that Andy'll be doing a DJ set tonight.
And, strangely enough I never heard Dead Meadow's music before. But, I'll experience it tonight! --by myself :(
