Apple Picking
Warwick, NY, 10990
I'm gonna be with my family, the Wagners (some of you may know them) who invited us, and some other friends, but if you guys wanna organize something, go for it :) Dunno if you guys ever done something like this, but it's up in NY state, Warwick territory, and there's huge apple tree fields and you get yourself some bags and put whatever apples you wanna bring home in them. The place is called Masker's Orchards. I put their website here so you can get directions. I've went two times and it's cool. There, you can eat as many apples as you want. Parking is free, and they give you free bags, but if you're planning to take home a bag of apples, it'll be $14.95, so stuff a bag as much as you can.
P.S. The phone number is the place, not mine. You're better off getting directions from the website than mapquest cuz mapquest might get ya lost. For your convenience, here's some directions.
From New Jersey:
Take the Palisades Parkway or the Garden State Parkway to the New York State Thruway north to Exit 15A, then follow Route 17 north (7 miles), then Route 17A west 13 miles to Ball Road. Watch for the Masker signs.
From Route 17
Follow signs for Route 17 North - Route 17 North becomes the NYS Thruway. Get off at exit 15A, and continue following Route 17 North for 7 miles to Route 17A West. Continue on Route 17A West for 13 miles to Ball Road.
From NYC and Long Island Triboro Bridge
Take the Major Deegan Expressway, which becomes the NY State Thruway to Exit 15A then follow Route 17 north (7 miles) to Route 17A west, then 13 miles to Ball Road.
From NYC and Long Island George Washington Bridge
Take Palisades Parkway north to Exit 9 westbound (just after Exit 9E) to New York State Thruway (87 West). Take the Thruway north to Exit 15A, then follow Route 17 north (7 miles) to Route 17A west, then 13 miles to Ball Road.
P.S.S. Sorry theremin! I did not pick the date. :/
UPDATE: our plans have been cancelled cuz of the rain.

Yeah..we go apple picking as a family with some other families every year near Chester, NJ.
i'm allergic to apples, but i heard that picked right for the tree, they cause the allergic reaction to be less.
EVERYONE MAKE FUN OF HER! GO AHEAD!
apples some how arent as amusing as milk.
haha, thanks jahanna
hey, dan....my food allergies vs. your food allergies, go:
me: apple, plum, peach, necatarine, honey dew, cherry, apricot
you: milk, yougurt, pudding, cheese, umm...you fill in the rest
i say, i come out the winner
hey courtney, want some apple pie!! well, you can't!!
actually, :)...i can have apple pie, because i have OAD (oral allergy syndrome) which means, that although i am allergic to many fruits, vegatables, and nuts...once these fruits are processed or cooked, they become less allergenic (with the exception of nuts) SO THERE Lactose boy!
yes, well, i have ATOM disease (allergic to milk) whereby i can have large amounts of lactose without feeling ill, but once the lactose is put back in the milk, i can no longer have it, because i am allergic to milk.
an apple product that i am regretfully allergic to though, is apple cider...not all, but some...
so, here is the deal: how about every so often we trade allergies? That way you can have milk sometimes and i can have fruit?
then she wouldn't want this apple-chunk necklace i made for her! maybe i'll shoot her with a water-pistol with apple juice in it. man, she must be pretty silly to be allerggic to apples.
WHOOOHOOO...make fun of her..i love it..
go milk a cow!!
ummm....ok..but why, brown cow? why??
are you calling me a cow?
how now brown cow
we're ill till the skill gets down
i'd just like to say that my allergy is WAY cooler then dans. At least its an actual allergy, not just an intolerance. My throat closes up...he gets nasally....what a wimp....how do you like them apples!? (erm...which i can't eat)
some friends were talking about going applepicking this year...maybe everyone would want to go this day..it'd be fun.
Sorry. Super Furry Animals comes before Apple Picking in me life, and this is the same day as their show that I'm going to.
lol, i think the orchards close at 5-6. and your event starts at 8. if you're not too tired, you could pick apples and then go to the show.
Orrr Super Furry Animals could come apple picking.
orrr apples can go see super furry animals.
Have youuu been watching SpongeBob Squarepants again??
Btw, I'll make the apples conform. I ain't budging for them apples! No way, no how! They've been completely outta line, and I'm sick and tired of it! Imagine me skipping a show, just so I can pick these, whatyoucall, "apples."
remove nose from drugs
