by ..because it makes us live longer. After a horrid first day of school and then work I got to wind down by getting a manicure. My beau once commented that I could easily paint my nails myself. This is true, though they wouldn't come out as nice. But that's really not the point. The point is I'm paying someone 10 dollars to massage my hands and make me feel special and pretty. I started to think of other reasons why its nice to be a girl sometimes that eventually attribute to the fact that we live longer. Soo..I've only come up with one thing that I can remember so far but everyone else can help:
-We indulge money occasionally to be pampered.

I can't get my haircut by my stylist anymore. She charges $60 now. Then there's tips for her and the shampoo girl. I just can't do it. Summer is my new stylist. And no more mani/pedi for me even though it's cheap. That's like a tank of gas for my car. The only thing I won't give up is my eyebrow threading. At least it's only 6 bucks still. I don't feel special or pretty. I forget what it's like to be a girl...

i don't understand how girls can let other people pluck or wax their eyebrows. seriously. maybe b/c i'm obsessed with mine being perfect and do mine all the time under an ultraviolet light, but i what if they make you look like you're suprised at all times. then what do you do?

not to be pessimistic...but some of my friends made lists of why its good to be a girl and why its good to be a guy....and the guy list surpassed the girl list by a pretty decent amount :-/
Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised. But there are some things that we can get away doing without a problem.
like:
-cry
-wear pink
-be in a bad mood with a decent excuse
-get free stuff with a little flirting (sometimes none)
-hug (etc) our friends without being assumed to be gay (note: i don't count...i'm irish...don't touch me! haha)
Well here's a short one I thought of, it's not much yet I find it reassuring:
I have also come to appreciate the look of utter amazement on a males face when you've been perhaps a little simple (in your make up and dress) and then he sees you at the meeting or assembly and his eyes pop outta his head, yeah CARTOON STYLE funny stuff... good times LOL!
this guy at school did the absolute cutest thing today...he held the door and let every female in the vicinity go in ahead of him, and then he saw me coming and he waited and then went in behind me...what a gentleman

For a majority of girls, one word....SHOPPING. It's one of those things that can easily relieve the stress of a bad day at work or school, lift our spirits when we're feeling sad about something, and just make us feel pretty, which, admit it girls, we all like to do.
And along those lines, and more importantly.....SHOE shopping. I think it's self-explanitory.
Spending $40 and up for a haircut, while guys can easily get one for $8 to $20. It's the shampoo, blow dry, and other stuff they do in between that makes me feel better in general.
I love when they massage your head..thats good stuff.

maybe i've mentioned this before...but the girl at supercuts is AMAZIIIIING....i tip her soo much sometimes, she's like "are you sure?" and i'm like "please just don't leave me"
