very odd! my parents like to tell this story about a co we had who was from england and he used to correct his wifes pronounciation of everything using a dictionary he brought with him from england.
also, i was wondering about gaza again since it was in the watchtower lesson this week. the official pronouciation is ga'-za (long a) but all the news programs say ga-za (short a). i wonder why?

OH YEAH! Fishnets are my trademark...all variety. Most recently pinstripped fishnets to go with these BAD faux vintage shoes.

i am forced to dress like a middle-aged middle management executive. i wear dress shirts everywhere. sometimes with loafers. i dont know why. i can't help it.

SWEATPANTS! Comfort is great...and i'm always cold.
i'm similar to rocksoup. i wear jeans or khakis, all the time. nothing else strikes me for bottoms. tops? lots of band tees and stripy or plaid button downs. i just bought a few half zip sweaters, mega comfy. i'm so boring.
right now, i'm still wearing my work stuff--a grey UPS sweat shirt and heavy black and blue b-ball pants with my doc martins. thats hot, thats hot!
additionally--how could i leave out my beloved OP style polos with horizontal stripe across the chest! official FU MANCHU wear!

really?? i thought everyone wore brown. Crazy. thats cool though. i feel SO sorry for the brown guys who have to wear black shoes AND black socks with their brown uniforms.
Only workers publically representing the company wear brown. People in the plants and warehouses where whatever they want. The only requirements are steal tip boots and NO baggy clothing because theres a million unpleasant places and things that can catch your clothes and tear them off or drag you up, down or across the place.

I don't have a style because I am in love with so many different skirts. However, I really love mini-skirts right now even though I don't love wearing them very often.
I cannot live without my black turtle neck sweater. If I could wear it every day I would because its nice and warm and it makes me look very thin.
I'm wearing my new black jeans from gap right now (they're great cause I can wear them to school and be comfortable and yet they're appropriate attire for work!) and some old shirt that has wine colored stripes on it (its grey) which is good cause wine has always looked good on me. I plan on putting my docs on later to go out because wearing heals to walk around school is a pain.
Places I adore shopping at: H&M, Gap, Century 21 (must go there sooon), Arden B always has the best stuff that I would love to wear but I never buy it cause its expensive AND I wouldn't be comfortable in it even though I'd be pretty.
so monday i bought this gorgeos green dress at h&m for the wedding and then i went in arden b. and they had the perfect color to match the dress in elbow high gloves. the gloves were 2X the amount the dress cost me. isn't that insane?

there's this trendy store on Melrose i went into a few weeks ago and i saw the cutest tank. there was nothing too special about it but the fit and it was $320. Uh i'm all about style but $320? NO STINKEN WAY. I don't even like paying $20 for tanks.

they had a bunch of really cute black dresses in a bunch of styles. i didn't get one cuz i have a black one but they did have pretty stuff. so annoying cuz all the manequins had these awesome stockings on but they were'nt seeling the stockings.

once in a while they do.
a lot of times i'll go somewhere and people won't recognize me if they haven't seen me for a few months bc i don't have one style. yesterday i wore a green shirt, over that a red hooded sweater, brown cord skirt, funky patterned brown tights, and brown madden loafers. today completely diff-leopard print shirt, denim skirt, threw a knee-length black jacket over to dress it up, and my sexy sexy boots. i can't stand wearing the same thing over and over again. i don't like jeans at all. i still haven't brought myself to buy pointy (pizza toe) shoes.
I tried a pair of those on yesterday but it just doesn't feel natural lol I couldn't do it. Plus I have this fear of looking like a penguin. My style usually changes at the 6 month mark of a year. Right now I'm going for the polished sophisticate at work and meetings..lots of lace trim tops! They're SO hot.

I've been rockin' the buddy holly girl thing. Boot cut jeans, black tank under one of my cardigans, a pair of 50s black frames, and mary jane docs. I LOVE CARDIGANS! Couldn't do without 'em. In fact I'm wearing a deep turquoise one right now.
I absolutely CANNOT live without my jeans. Levi, low-rise stretch. LOVE them! I pretty much live in jeans.
Also, my super comfy Old Navy sweats. They rock for sleeping in, or for crummy days when I have to go out, but don't feel like getting all dolled up.
My style is pretty much designed for my comfort...I have some articles of what I call "high-maintenance clothing." Clothes that I only wear every now and then, because something about them annoys me, even though they are cute. I have a short that is ADORABLE, but has tons of dangling beads on it, so it makes noise...not fun for all the time.
The rest of my stuff is pretty casual...not your typical "mom clothes" hahahaha.
i LUV clothes! i'm a total shop-o-holic! I try to have a touch of everything in my collection because you never know where you are going or waht you are doing.
My most favorite possession (right now) is the faux leopard print coat my sister bought for me!
