I LOVE to be surprised, but never have been EVER. I want to be! Weel really I do and Don't its a love hate thing, but anyway
This past anniversary my husband bought me a ring yada yada, I LOVE it, but before , like 2 days before he tells me I'm like NOOOOOOOOOOO, I never would have guessed, I didn't even think he was going to get me anything, & i would have been fine with that completly but to KNOW put a tiny damper on the "surprise", ha, I really wanted to be surprised. But anyway. Somehow I always find out , and i don't even think, or pry, or ask questions I just end up finding out when things are gunna happen that are supposed to be a surprise for me. Grrr, So anyway,, What are some good surprise storys!

I was surprised once...
I remember it clearly..

It was a warm beautiful day for me... Almost like every other day for the past few months..

But I knew something strange was coming.. I just didn't know when..

So I was up to doing my usual thing that day.. FLoating around , checking out my fingers.. Pulling on my stomach tube for more food... THEN BAM
ALL OF A SUDDEN I'm not floating anymore..
I started to panic.. and I heard scream and yelling.. and This old man smacked me.
I was so surprised.

so here's about a suprise i pulled off. so my hosue is not extremly large but on this particular day we had decieded to have jesse h. graduation party. we told everyone adn i mean EVERYONE. and it got closer and closer and i totally thought he knew to the point of when people asked me what to bring when i was standing next to him, i didnt bat an eyelash and just told them hot dogs and such. and we had everyone park at like the bank on the corner, or the daycare place, anywhere not close to my house (some people would drive by and not show up at the house until 6 minutes later cuz they parked so far away) so i called him and said i needed a ride somewhere or how could he pick me up to go to lynz's house or something i dont quite remember. (lynz and i and vanessa hosted the party for him. so much work!) so he rolls up in the jeep and walks in the door and you can even see it on the pictures. he was sooooo stunned. everyone yells suprise and he didnt get it until he read one of the signs the lil kids had (which we had them make so that he would know it was for him. gosh.) the living room is crowded with people and evuantally shock and excitement registers on his face and he takes a step back. it was amazing. never have i been so happy/proud of doing something for somebody else. and the thing is that he kinda knew but he just thought we were having people over our house and weren't inviting him. yes, jess i hang out with you all the time but i'm gonna have a party and not invite you. but it just made it oh that much sweeter to see the suprise on his face. i can still picture it perfectly in my mind.

hahah, most of you guys heard about my graduation party i think it was on ezabel for a while but... for those who didnt... i got surprised REALLY badly, lol

Web Toed asked me to help her do a surprise party for katies bridal shower or something, but then, never let me do antyhing with it... lol soo i was like... ok. I tried helping but she would always be like "yeah ok mike... thanks" and totally not listen to me, so i gave up.... and so we planned it at this firehouse local to us, and here i thought i was being all slick, i walk in... and everyone is there, and im like all happy that we surprised katie... totally not noticing the "Congratulations Mike" banner on the wall... lol. I looked like a total moron, i had no idea until like 5 min later till people explained it to me... sooo funny.

That was the most amazing party, Band From Society played and i got to actually play guitar for a bit, which was AMAZING.

i was there, and you were very confused.

web-toedchloe #10.2 web-toedchloeOG 2001

That was so awesome. I loved getting you mad; it was so low-key that it was comical. It's like:

Di - Mike, are you mad?

Mike - No. Well, um, not really. I mean, well kinda. I guess a little.

Di - What's upsetting you?

Mike - No, no! I'm not upset, it's just, um, well, I'm a little... ya know.

If you knew how many times I hung up the phone with you and burst into laughter.... Props to Katie on that surprise idea.

i'm also very very hard to suprise. one of the few times i was shocked was when my workmates threw me a bridal shower. i had been in the lunch room and saw all this food. i asked my boss if we were having a lunch meeting and she said no, the marketing dept was and i was really disappointed. a little later they called me to the conference room for a "dept. meeting" and i had not one clue not even when I walked in and they were all staring at me. complete shock. everyone said they were having a nervous breakdown trying to sneak all the presents in w/o me seeing b/c I was always walking around. good job on them

i've been surprised a few times. the best ones were always a surprise...from/by austin. but one of the times i was such a JERK!

its when we were still dating...and we lived 5 hours apart so we only got to see eachother on the weekends. so this one time he told me that he couldnt come on friday cuz he had to work. (which, he is his own boss, so having to "work" was never a good excuse)

so i gave him SUCH a hard time. i was like, we NEVER get to see eachother....it's only on the weekends and now your cutting out a whole day. yadda yadda

so i got off the phone upset. then about an hour later he tells me to go to the blockbuster near my house because he called up and reserved a movie for me to make me feel better. so i go to blockbuster and go to the desk, and say "austin reserved a movie i'd like to pick up" and they were going crazy looking everywhere for this movie. (i still dont know if they actually DO reserve movies, haha) so i'm like, okay, i'll just look around in the mean time.

so i'm walking around and austin comes up behind me. he was planning on coming the whole time! i felt SO bad though for being so difficult! and he just put up with it knowing he was coming the whole time.

Please use punctuation. That comment made my eyes hurt.

fivezero #7.1.1 fivezeroOG 2003

Quiet down, Miss Contrary. There were three commas and a period.

socalgal #7.2 socalgalOG 2003

HAHAHA thats nice they did that for you, but is that how they get you to do things, by telling you there's a cute brother there? LOL

web-toedchloe #6 web-toedchloeOG 2001

Mike, remember when Katie and I totally surprised you for your graduation party? I spun an elaborate web of lies for that...

hunkpapap #5 hunkpapapOG 2003

mine is kind of embarrassing. For my HS grad no one did anything. THen we went to a sisters house for a brother from Miss who was homesick. When i got there everyone yelled surprise but i didn't flinch cuz i thought they were kidding around.

They were all dumbstruck when i just walked past holding the cake that had my name on it ( i didn't look in). So ten minutes later a guy starts saying how this is the third grad thing he's been to that year. X's, O's and now Patrick. I jumped up and was like, "WAIT! THIS IS FOR ME?" yeah pretty stupid. There were only like 15 people there....

yay #5.1 yayOG 2004

lol Ive done something similar...

After HS graduation, I was in my room and my parents called me out (we had family over and friends) and when i came out there was this long black case underneath the ice cream cake. I just totally ignored it and said ooo ice cream cake, not realizing that my brand new awesome guitar was in that case. DOH. I felt so stupid

The sisters in my hall threw me a bridal shower that completely surprised me. One sister told me she wanted me to come over to play poker. I even made a cheesecake. It was like 2 weeks before our wedding, so I was all stressed out and work was horrible. I took my work clothes off when I got home and put on my old stretched out hoodie and a torn pair of cargos. I took off all my makeup and fumbled my hair up into a ponytail. I drove to the sister's house thinking about how many things I had to do later that night, and when I opened the door, I saw a few other sisters standing in her kitchen and thought, "Man, I don't want to deal with any people tonight." Then I walked into their living room and every sister in our hall yelled "Surprise!" They totally got me.

forrestina #3 forrestinaOG 2002

one of my best suprises ever was waking up to a large bag full of belated but cleverly personalized gifts next to my bed.

reaf #2 reafOG 2002

Actually I forgot, I was surprised once. At my sisters wedding they had me and the best man pose with the bride and groom, (my sister an her husband) by the cake, they said for photos, and they cut it and all, and when they went to go feed each other they slammed us with cake, it was SOOO GOOD, so unexpected!....That was a fun surprise!

originalsnob #1 originalsnobOG 2004

It's a real shame but, I've never really been suprised either. Maybe I give off a vibe like I wouldn't like to be but, I would. Maybe the people I know just aren't the suprise sort...if that makes any sense.
