ING Direct

I'm no money genius, but it has a higher interest rate than my savings account at my own bank so I have one with ING, too.

Yea I have my own savings account - it really surprised me how fast it added up... ha ha no pun intended.

Oh and I'm pretty much just interested in the Savings account, I haven't had time to read up on other investing options and I do not understand them at all

A few of my clients have had investment accounts with them. It's just like anything else: If you invest more aggresively, you'll see a higher return rate. Mutual funds, which are more middle of the road, were returning something like $300 per month on a $100,000 account. That's a little over 3%, which is not bad. It's not that great, though. Try reading some www.howstuffworks.com articles about investing. Really, which company you choose doesn't make a huge difference; interest rates are always based on the market.

I've heard they steal all your money, and they're not a real bank, and that they will hunt down your children and make them shake out their piggy banks, and that they are the devil.
