AUDI A4
Does anyone here drive an Audi, or know someone who does?
I'd like to get some personal testimony about the car. Dealers always tell you what you want to hear.
Also, do these cars hold up if there a few years old? Ideally, I'd like a '99 or '00. But i happend to see one that was a '96(Private Seller) that sounded pretty good, we're looking at it today after work, but..that is already a 10 year old car w/ 95K miles on it. Austin and I don't know much about the reputation of Audi's. So if anyone has any info, that'd be greaaat. :-)

so sadly i am gonna be selling my sweet ride soon. just the thought makes me wanna cry but its too expensive to keep anymore. anyone want a 76 volkswagon bus? good condition. we'll see i already have my offers but i think these people should just give me the money cuz i need it and i still get to keep the car.
i drove one once to maine. it was the nicest, fastest car i ever drove. got a ticket in fact and i'm very proud to say that I am no longer allowed to drive in Maine due to that Audi. But it was worth it.
they also get 30 miles to the gallon!
I GOT MY CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IT'S A 2001 BLACK AUDI A4 1.8 TURBO 60K miles
i am so in love with it. and we got it for sucha good price!!!!!!!! i'm so excited.
it's got the thing where you can switch from automatic to manuel trans. triptronic i think it's called. neatooooo bandito.
it's been 3 months i have been without a car, it was torture! haha
I'm tellin' ya......call my brother. :)
10 year old car with under 100K miles - i'd say that's good, considering my 1.5 year old car has 50K miles... etc. etc.
wow! that is a TON! Austin's truck is just a year old and has 45K miles on it, which is a lot, but driving is basically what he does for work....checking on jobs/dropping off materials.
do you have so many miles cuz of photographing all over the place?
yeah especially the out-of-state stuff like Maryland, Delaware, Pennsy... and also Chris and I shared the car for a little bit while I was still workin, so it was a lot of driving, to and from work, dropping each other off, and stuff. And trips to North Carolina, and visiting north Jersey to see my family, it ADDS UP like crazy.
anyway so if someone had a car for 10 years and only has about 100K, that means less than 10K miles per year, so the car (engine and stuff) is probably in great condition. I would think.
we test drove the '96 audi yesterday. i have to say, the outside of it was in great condition. i didnt see hardly any dings or scratches in it. buuut, it's a 6 cylinder, and we really wanted a 4. and for a 6 cyl. it doesnt have the best pickup...but that might be cuz it's AWD. i dunno. she put a brandnew 10 cd changer/mp3 player in it. but the leather looks like it's cracking and the inside looks kinda beat up. but thats why it's only $7500. ohh, what to do..........
we also test drove a '99 accord coupe, that was REALLY nice, in perfect condition. but i kinda have my heart set on an audi. blahhh. car shopping is so difficult on a budget. haha
(well, maybe it would be more difficult if we had no budget..then there would be WAY too many choices) lol
