Another new feature
Hey, guys!
I just added a new feature to the comments pages. Look in your Comment Options, and you'll see a new Checkbox called "Juggle Threads". If you enable this, the comment threads in all sections will be "juggled" to the top whenever they get new replies.
This means that if there's a News Story, Journal, or Forum Thread with a lot of comments, if somebody replies to an older comment, that whole comment thread will be bumped up to the top of the page so you don't have to go looking through all the comments to find the new ones. They'll all be up top. (or down at the bottom if you're using Ascending mode.)
AI Summary
12 Comments
ok, i gave it a shot and i still don't like it. when there are several New comments, i can see where they all are (basically). then, when i reply to one, i basically know where the other ones are for me to read. now, they're all bounced to the top. and when i reply, now THAT one's at the top...i'm so obfuscated.
again with the red new!
If you reply a comment, tho, all the New markers disappear
that's my point...if there are two New comments on one thread, and three New comments on another thread; then if i reply to the one thread, i have to remember which other thread had the other New comments...did i explain that well?
Any questions on what this is?
NO you are not special New
interesting...i'll keep it the way it is for now. i like the little search for New
haha, so funny. that's too bad tho, cause I think eZabel is a much more pleasant experience with Juggle Threads turned on.
i was thinking the same thing. and now i have this manic scrolling problem tho. i do it on other sites now. sheesh. i just rip the mouse down the page. looking for those lil succulent NEW mrosels.
arg, i HATE you....this is like the fifth time i've read your comment because of that little red NEW
