Where I live, homeschooling seems to be a huge fad. I don't really understand why cuz its not like the schools provide a bad education or witness kids are getting beat up. I live in brady bunch suburbia, not the ghetto. I went to a really good high school. I know that I'd never have handled homeschooling, I would have done a half hearted job. I would have retained NOTHING. But that's just me...
yeah, i do feel a little dumber since i started homeschooling, but ive been able to do alot more outside of school that i wouldn't have been able to if I was still in school...so basically there are good things and bad
Matt, here, is making very good use of his extra time, putting it toward Jehovah. Right on, bro.
hey thanks alot man, your awesome too, and for that i reward you a dollar, here you go
you are MORE than welcome
hey, dan, check out comment 22, and the subsequent comments! (exciting right? Too bad I don't feel like going to the city right now)
ahah i KNOW that's why i SAID that todd (master of the obvious)
i've known many a home schooler that are going to end up living in a van down by the river!!!!!
no but opie, you are quite different from that and perfectly acceptable and great.
well thanx :) heres a dollar
this reminds me of a Brian Regan joke where he questions the use of the phrase "you're MORE than welcome". How could you actually BE more than welcome? Would you say, "You're welcome. AND, here's a dollar." (more than welcome...just a little but, but enough).
haha! brian regan's great, i love his John Madden impression.
you know, I've seen him 3 times, I don't know his John Madden impression. But have you ever heard his thoughts on Evil Kneivel? SOOOO FUNNY! By the way, if you're over 18 (or is it 21...?) you can go see him at Carolines in NYC between October 23-26!!
Check out Http://www.Carolines.com for details
yeaaaaah lol! "then my leg cracked in half, and i was thinkin 'hey maybe i should get a puppy'... wat do you think i was thinkin, i was thinkin 'AHHHH!! AHHHH!!' somethin like that if i remember right!" regan's awesome, i'd like to go see him but i'm not old enough lol.
oh i forgot to mention. i'm not sure if that's him doing this John Madden impression cuz i found it on kazaa a while back but it did say regan's name with it. it was on Opie and Anthony, dunno when tho. if i knew how to post it on here, i would lol. it's sooo funny.
most of my friends are homeskool, they seem ok. i just ran into a wall.
well... Richard homeschooled for a couple years... and look at him... no further comments
ouch, im going back to school this istant
yo he just said ur mom....
You are his mom.
ME? yo i'm too short to be a mother!
nah, you can still be a mommy. some mom's are like 4'5 and they drive cars. from behind their car, it looks like no one's driving tho. might need some phone books to boost you up.
nah, i just put the seat ALL the way up... altho i can't ever see the front of my car so parking is usually a problem... i always hit those rock things that r in front of spots...
haha! when you hear that huge scratch, it's like "i parked ok. *shrug*"
I always hit them too!!!! But you're shorter then me..how can you not use a pillow? I use a pillow and I still can't see over the stearing wheel very well.
yea.. MOST... MOST homeschool kids.. have something koo koo going on.. i dont know why.. but it happens... i say the same ratio of weird homeschool kids applies to chinese people being ninjas. A LOT !
the ratio isnt THAT big, please
Yes, it absolutely does. Is this your first year homeschooling?
no its my second, i started after 8th grade
You'll be fine! You've already developed your major social skills by that time seeing as how Middle School is the hardest social-wise because everyone is so freakin mean when you're fat!
so im fat now? oh great
not at all... i think that only kids who were homeschooled their whole lives are a little "off".. however, this does not apply to all of them.. i think its just that being in a public school environment gives you a different outlook on things... children who are not in this environment are more likely to be a little more up-tight and socially different.. but then again, thats just my opinion
