everyone here seems to use the musings as a chat room, even though there's already a chat room on here. so now if we're being encouraged to chat in the forums instead of the musings, and presumably everyone is going to continue to ignore the chat room, then what is the musings page for? help me out here lol

I thought we were all supposed to converse on certain topics in the forums...thats the impression I got anyway. BUT thats nearly impossible when thai is on the site. You can talk about world peace and he posts a reply about his big toe.
exactly! the Musings page was never used for what it was originally intended. I'm trying to figure out what the musings page should become, and if the Forums things even fits in on eZabel. we'll see. it's all a big experiment. The musings page is so obsolete that I would love to just archive the whole thing and be done with it. But that might kill some of the vibe of the site. I don't know yet.

the musings are a beautiful thing. they are random thoughts. yet, they have no lasting value. except when you look back after a year, or see a random musing that reminds you of something else.

it should be more like the journals...like, a musing has to be a certain legnth to qualify. more than 15 characters. like, 200. you have to think more. and muse more. random comments can be there, but 200 characters or more makes them more creative.
