Insomnia

perrin by perrinOG 2004 · Feb 2, 2004 · 233 views

I just a couple of weeks ago quit my job working at 2:00 in the morning and now I just can't sleep at night. Anybody else have Insomnia? What do you do to try and get yourself to fall asleep?

This guy I know, Dave, has the same problem. He likes to go to bars and make fun of drunk people on the street. I don't know if that'll work for you though...

we actually saw him on the street. but he wasn't making fun of anyone.. he was actually on the phone.. with his rugged hat. he was nice.

Do you drink or eat a lot of caffeine during the day? I don't consume caffeine after 2 in the afternoon, and that ussually helps me sleep better.

Actually I'm not supposed to have caffiene at all so I stay away from it. It's mainly because I worked at 2am for 2 and a half years so I got used to being up at that time and sleeping during the day.

bad history of it. that's the only reason my nana died. she was 94. mel should start taking some because she doesn't have enough calcium in her diet.

yodasucka yodasuckaOG 2003

i don't think i have any calcuim in my diet... i mean, is their calcuim in burger king? wendys? bagels? haha cuz thats all i eat.... the pills were too big tho... i couldn't take 'em... plus, i'm on enough medication as it is.. i don't need any more

Unless they've started making them better those things used to be nasty.

I take clacium before I go to bed and I also take Melatonin sometimes it helps sometimes it doesn't.
Melatonin is a good natural alternative to sleeping pills and seems to work for most people since it naturally in your body when you sleep anyway.

tinser #3.1.2.1 tinserOG 2002

does it make you tanner too?

perrin perrinOG 2004

Yeah if you take them while lying on a tanning bed or out in the sun then of course they do.

forrestina #2 forrestinaOG 2002

I can't sleep at night.

fivezero #1 fivezeroOG 2003

i have trouble sleeping at night. i don't know how to make myself go to sleep. i think it might be that my computer is in my room and i don't associate this space as one for sleep. because i can crash out on the couch in a few minutes, something hard to do when i'm in my room. but when i finally get my regular schedule going again i'm sure i won't have any issues sleeping at night. hopefully. worst comes to worst, i'll have someone come in to beat me unconcious and set my alarm clock each night.

perrin #1.1 perrinOG 2004

I've tried that you tend to either beat me up to much or to little so wake up to soon or to late. On top of that they always set my alarm clock for the wrong time. Bah. There must be another solution.
