by I'm not too sure of how popular this chain of wholesale stores is in other parts of the country, but I love it. It's just as good as Costco or BJ's. I went wild the other day.
6 pack of deoderant
12 razor blades
Giganto sized shampoo and conditioner
24 10oz bottles OJ
10 bars of soap
240 plastic cups*
200 paper dishes*
15 rolls paper towels
2 24 cases of tomatos (for my ruined sauce)
-I cant really buy any food items here, WAY too much for just the two of us. There's no way we'd get through 4lbs of spinich dip. but for things like the above mentioned items it's awesome.
And i love the little food samples they have everywhere. it's such a treat while your shopping.
The only thing I hate about wholesale shopping is having to bring the stuff in from the car.
That's my least favorite part about grocery shopping, but at least that stuff is in bags.
*Yea, we don't yet have a dishwasher, we live off of paper products (except at dinner, thats just not nice) Anyways...2 more months our house will be done....dishwasher, here I come! woohoo!

Wal Mart and Sam's were started by the same guy....Sam Walton. The name.....SAM WALton.....Sam's & Wal-Mart. So yeah, they're affiliated. I didn't know it till a few years ago.
We use Costco but I've been to Sams..don't see much of a difference.

I have been going to Sam's for ages......literally, since lil' kid years. It's owned by the same guy who created Wal-Mart (well, before he died, anyways), so you KNOW it must be good!! :)

what about freezing things?
you should see the size of our fridge/freezer...definatly not getting more than some ice and frozen veggies in there. haha it's too small. maybe one day, i'll be like a true italian and have two kitchens and a extra freezer. (seriously, my parents have this, and all my moms brothers and sisters...so weird!)
don't dis it. i bet you will grow up to be just like them. i wish i had a freezer for my basement-buying in bulk and freezing things saves so much money!!
sams club is awesome for being vegetable and fruit. maybe it would still be too much for just two people but i know it is a lot cheaper for my family to go here than shop rite
