I'm making Delmonico steaks on the grill tonight. I'm a little nervous about it...because it's the first time I'm going to make expensive meat on the grill. I hope I don't mess it up!!
Any thoughts, suggestions, grilling tips....POST EM!

So I made grilled lamb chops over the weekend. Grilled em with just some S&P. Then i made a raw sauce to go over top: lots of garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, lots of fresh parsly, salt & pepper.
Served with fresh corn, a nice crusty baguette & tomato & mozzarella salad. Delish.
So, I didn't grill the Delmonico's...hubby did...they were great! Before grilling just brushed em with a little butter & S&P...grilled to perfection!!
I made roasted asparagus to go along with it.
BTW: A electric thermometer is the best kitchen invention....you never over or undercook anything...it's amazing.
I love grilling italian peppers (sometimes called roasting or sweet peppers) - they're long and light green and taste amazing with steak grilled and a little lemon.
