My school's food was awesome. I almost always bought my lunch. Then, my senior year of high school, my mom gave me $20 a week for school lunches, and I'd usually spend it on snacks and lunch the first two or 3 days, and then I'd bum money off of my friends the other 2 days. Good times. Hahaha.

And no, I don't do that anymore. :)

I really found mine to be disgusting. I mean they used to cook those burgers somehow and the color faded from brown to green. I can't forget all the food fights that used to happen. I remember it all happening in slow motion this one day when I was at the table and someone chucked an open milk carton across the lunch room and it just splashed over this girl I disliked. That was one of the funniest moments in my life. I also recall someone throwing some noodles on this girl and making her cry.

i love the way my school makes grilled cheese with hot tomato souop. possibly my most favortie foods in the entire world together and just soooo good.

modestjesse #10.1 modestjesseOG 2004

The best grilled cheese is made on a George Foreman Grill! Slap some ham or bacon on that sucker too! YUMMY!

fivezero #10.1.1 fivezeroOG 2003

skaorsk8 #10.1.1.1 skaorsk8OG 2002

The chow mein at school wasn't bad, I actually liked it. In vo-tech my friends mom worked in the cafeteria, that was fun.

I was almost always a "packer." I'd walk to school with lunch in a brown paper bag. Only a few menu's would entice me to buy. Baked potato bar-you'd get a backed potato and you could decorate it with all the toppings you could ever want. Grilled cheese and tomato soup- talk about the ultimate in comfort food. I've heard that my high school now has a McDonalds in it. Stinkin' snob kids. And they wonder why our country is obese.

we have this. it's called create a potato. and then there's a your way burger. we got milkshakes, smoothies, frosties, fries, good pizza, amazing macarooni and cheese, so much good food that it's unbelievable.

hunkpapap #8.2.1 hunkpapapOG 2003

man, the only thing ever good was the pizza...

malibu #8.2.1.1 malibuOG 2001

i hate the pizza. we have two different hot lunches everyday and everyother day one of them is pizza. it just upsets me. not all that great.

ilikebirds #7 ilikebirdsOG 2002

ahh the good old days. we had 2 snack bars. and usually it was bagel fritos and a soda. or a chicken sandwich. our school also had subway as a 'sponser' so we had made to order subway sandwiches which were tastey. but i stuck with the bag of cookies and juice. and ppartyyy

socalgal #7.1 socalgalOG 2003

we had the best chicken sandwiches, but what i remember were the peanut butter bars....OMG they were yummy with this thick chocolate coating

ilikebirds #7.1.1 ilikebirdsOG 2002

yea i loved my chicken patties. mith mayo on top.
eventhough it was the plainest sandwich ever.
just too lazy to go and order subway... this i just walked passed and picked up. i remember i found a roll of FREE LUNCH stamps.. and i sold them to people for a buck a piece.. i got busted !!! it sucked.

socalgal #7.1.1.1 socalgalOG 2003

that is SO hysterical! we would sometimes ditch and head to taco bell across the street or the pizza place

tesoro #6 tesoroOG 2001

school food wasnt bad sometimes..i'd never get meat though..it grossed me out..i'd always get pizza or a bagel or something.

omegatweeter #5 omegatweeterOG 2003

skool food's pretty good this year. i remember freshman year i'd get pre-made sandwiches. i loved turkey and cheese. then i had half-days everyday for my sophomore and junior years so we had no lunch. then this year we get full days again and the lunch is pretty good! they built a NEW cafeteria! it's like wow, so fresh and so clean. and i think the food is better cuz we actually have a chef, so that's pretty awesome. pizza's real good too. i have it everyday lol, i'm gonna get fat.

tinser #4 tinserOG 2002

i would buy a big plate of french fries every day. They were very tasty. Excuse me, i believe my heart just stopped. I'll return shortly.

OHHHHHHH those good greasy french fries that you can dip in malt viniger *drooooooooooooool*

thatdarngirl #3 thatdarngirlOG 2002

THe first year it was the best because they made subs for you on the spot. THen they changed to pre-made subs..HORRIBLE! Then I would just get a bowl of pasta with nothing on it because one time I did get stuff on it and it ended up being taco sauce. Gross.

yodasucka #3.1 yodasuckaOG 2003

yea.. my school caf. had those subs that they made for u... $1.50 for a sandwhich, a choclate milk, and a juice! SO GOOD! i would NEVER eat the hot lunch tho.. o man it just looked so gross.. but i haven't even stepeed in the caf. since freshman year.. i don't even know what they have down there any more...

forrestina #2 forrestinaOG 2002

I was best friends with the chef (the one who taught the culinary academy). He always hooked me up with the good stuff.

skaorsk8 #1 skaorsk8OG 2002

ahhh we had pasta with meat sauce...it was like, $1.85. i wasn't so concerned with fat, back then.
