My Book Club
OK, here's how it works.
1) Go here: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/registry/TDARFX5RPIAZ/ref%3Dwl%5Fs%5F3/103-6673348-6116647
2) Buy me a book.
3) When I get it, I'll read it, then tell you if it was good or not. (Warning: this may take a month or two, if thats too long, buy me a DVD)
Update: thai was extremely helpful by making sure the link worked, then turned around and became all anal and forced me to write this comment, although I'm sure he wanted me to say, "thay is my hero, and he's the awesomest link clicker ever!

you didn't use it either. come on now. what's a guy to do.
just cuz i do it makes it okay for you not to do it? what are you saying? if all your friends jump off the brooklyn bridge you're gonna jump too?
haha, whenever anybody asks me that, i always answer, "not again" cause one jump is enough, ya know?
he's at that "questioning authority" stage, don't worry...it'll pass
Hah..your comment made it 666 comments in the book forum..of course my comment ruins that BUT yeah.
whew.....good thing
yo, dean, i think you're getting kind of carried away here.
what? I made a promise to review each and every item I recieved through my book club, and so far, I've got one down, and 3 more to go. right now I'm reading "Gateway" by Frederick Pohl. good stuff.
well. I just finished reading "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and it was great. They say the word "ass" in it though, so I was a little stumbled.
ok, I've been real busy, but just wanted to give an update, Forreste got me three Roald Dahl books, James and the Giant Peach, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator. she also bought me The Holy Grail on DVD!!!! wowwowowowowow. thanks so much forreste.
I'm right in the middle of "Acts of the Apostles" so I won't be able to start these yet, but I will start the Charlie books as soon as I get the chance as I read James and the Giant Peach when I was like 7 or something, but never read the Charlie books. then its on to the James.
And The Holy Grail is hilarious. that goes without saying. I can't wait to watch all the extras on the DVD.

wow. such a nice person. i didn't expect anyone to actually buy me anything :)
now I'll seriously have to do a review of whatever I get. cool.
it's no big deal
geeze. no comments. my thread is getting lonely
i will be here to cheer it up. go mets!
yo dean i just looked at your list, and you want a lot of stuff, greedyboy.
its actually more of a reminder list. like stuff I want to read or get for myself, but I want to keep the list somewhere. like if I hear about an interesting book, I'll put it up there, then look around at B+N or Borders. and if I get it, I'll take it off the list. I just bought a couple books off my wish-list through Amazon, that I couldn't find anywhere else. It's pretty useful this way.
