Sudamérica
I am loving Sergio Mendes right now. He's so...tribal. Crazy rhythms and percussion. My favorite songs are Fanfarra and Magalenha. This is Brazilian music at it's best. Other favorite artists from South America are obvious, but classic-Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Johnny Pacheco, Ray Barretto, and Shakira. Any other artists you would recommend?

it's weird how when you learn another languange and literally try to translate something. (i dont know spanish, but italian is similar) cuz when i read the title i thought it meant "under america" because sud...can mean under or south...so it actually means south america. (so i conclude) haha
weird. i dont make any sense.
It's true it is like Spanish. Hahaha you make sense ;)
Raul Malo. NOT Cheyenne...
aw man celia cruz always gets me up to dance!! dancing to shakira i feel like a bellydance superstar (but i'm far from it) lol
i want bellydance lessons. i can already do some stuff.
it is so much fun!!! are there places around you where you can take lessons??
well yea. i could even take them in nysc gym.
oh my goodness there are two. one is really close to our house but it kinda stinks cuz its so small and its pretty expensive. but there is another place that i read a review about that seemed wonderful and they got a 4* review and it seemed cheaper than the other restaurant i know of. i wanna go there soon. (im thinking bacheleorette party)
honestly, if you wanna go cheap, buy the belly dance tapes and they teach you the basics you need to know.
no we have those tapes but i wanna go to a fun place where it is then acceptable to be belly dancing. none of the gyms i have ever went to ever had any of the classes.
