How was the show? I saw Violent Femmes in concert at a festival back in like 2000. Loved it
Hrm, well I wasn't into going to the show when it came down to it. Just aggrevated with some thing that were going on at the time. But I did go.
Let me just say, not the best place to have a concert. It was in an open field, but the problem was it was directly below where planes fly as they come into land at the airport in San Jose. So every 10 minutes the concert is drown out by a 727 flying over head.
We showed up late so we didn't see the earlier bands and to be honest, all I really wanted to see were the Dresdon Dolls. They were really good. We left during the Violent Femmes set, we were just tired and it was getting late. But we had a good time. The Femmes sounded really good.
It was a good time.
A really good friend of mine went to see this show. Apparently there were a bunch of witnesses there.
I'm seein Dresden Dolls this friday here on east coast!

Nope, just saw them in San Jose, they were awesome! I didn't realize it's only two of them. They were really cool. They signed autographs after they played.
are you on west coast now? i didn't realize that! we saw the east coast show and i had them sign my jeans. they are so down.

DG this is your backyard, San Jose is in Northern California nr San Francisco.
Driving it would take almost eight hours from San Diego to San Jose. (Traffic dependant of course)
um it's about an 6 hr drive up north from where you'll be....DO IT!!!!!
8 hr? How fast are you driving? I can make it to LA in under 6 and I'm less than an hour from San Jose.
My mistake, but LA to San Diego is 2 hours on a good day :-)
