Has anyone tried lala.com?
i joined last week and am starting to get it. it's cool! basically, you trade cds to other members, and you put up the cds you want, and someone will trade them to you. the more you agree to send (and send), the quicker you'll be in line to recieve new ones. and it costs $1 per trade, plus 75 cents shipping. and lala sends you the shipping envelopes, they are prepaid, so you dont have to fool around with the post office, just put the cd in and drop it in your mailbox or the post office mailbox.
so far, i havent recieved my prepaid envelopes, as i'm away now. but when i get home, i'll probably have them. so i'll be sending off two cds, and so far, i've recieved confirmation that i'll be getting 3 cds. cool, huh? then when im done, ill ship them off and recieve other ones.
anyone else tried it?

I did some trades and it just isn't worth it I traded my entire beatles vinyl collection and I got an envelope that when opened all that you get is a slap in the face.
well i guess technically someone could send a dud, but the site policy is that they are supposed to be in complete working order with album art. if it arrives damaged, you can report it and be refunded and the person who traded to you will likely, at least after a few incidents, be banned.
so, they are used cds, what kind of guarentee do you have if the cd you receive is all scratched?
