Remove Sound from Flash page ... ?

superhero by superheroOG 2004 · Nov 26, 2004 · 141 views

Ok, so I see you can get a new goldfinger track "Wasted" at http://www.purevolume.com/goldfinger

How do I remove the songs? I'd like an mp3. I tried looking in my cache, to see if it put anything there ... I couldn't find anything (buy maybe i didn't look hard enough) ... and I also tried using sound recorder, but it didn't record anything.

Suggestions?

*my browser won't let me reply #13* Aw! This should work but, when I test the page it says the data that the plug in requested did not download successfully :-(

This is Flash related but it's my own question...Not big enough a deal to start my own thread.

Published/exported a file from a movie production suite, expoted as quicktime (after it renders all the changes it creates the .mov)

I wanted to insert the movie into one of my html files...so I assumed I had to embed it in a Flash movie. (can quicktime movies be self contained?)

So I publish the flash movie and it gives me an error message that my version of quicktime doesn't have the handler to support the requested function. Is it as simple as upgrading stupid quicktime or is there something wrong with my .mov file?

embed the .mov directly. doesn't have to be in flash.

If I give you a link can you see if the video plays for you??? I might be missing the plug in but, I wouldn't know unless someone else tries to view it and lets me know.

Ok - I finally found one that works - it's called Total Recorder v 4.5 - it's uploaded on the server in the "upload" folder. Program works perfectly. Anything on the internet, from now on, is mine. Even a DVD that I'm watching too (think snowboarding dvds). WOW. Life is good.

awesome dude. worst case you could have connected a line from your speaker out to mic in on your soundcard. I think...

yay #4.1.1 yayOG 2004

line in, mic is powered connection

really cheap sound-cards only have three jacks, I couldn't remember what combination of (line-in, line-out, speaker, microphone) it would be.

ok. I couldn't get it to do anything either. but there's a few more on this page you might want to test: http://www.mp3towav.org/rm-to-mp3.asp

never mind, i figured it out. i found a program called EZ Mp3 Recorder that records any sound from any web page, etc. I uploaded it to the server, it seems to work good for anyone else who wants to try it.

thanks :)
