I think the laser ate it or something.
I uninstalled everything. tonight i will try physically removing, and test out IDE cables make sure.
Then try warranty
man it was such a good drive too. it seems like when kamila put in this idependent film we got, it screwed up the reader
way to go, kam
OH are you kidding me
you really did it this time, kam
not tubular
and yes it could have been before we put in this indie flick
thats ridiculous if i have to dance around my own DVD drive to make it work ok, it should be able to handle errors
oh dude, maybe we havne't been dancing in around it enough!! I haven't danced in that room in a while, maybe that's it. Got a upright fan?
Hahaha DANCING! I recommend an Afro cuban beat...
have you tried checking the cable? unplug it and plug it in again (both ends)
Actually I should describe what's happening and Chris add to this if i'm wrong.
the drive worked beautifully until suddenly it's giving "no disc in drive" or "unsupported file format" errors. We tried different CD's and DVD's and chris rebooted like 80 times
it's really frustrating
Maybe you should try uninstalling and reinstalling the drive you already have. Is your computer recognizing it?
i think so but it's not reading any discs whatsoever. Chris worked on it for like an hour last night. Not really fun.
that happened to my computers dvd drive. there was nothing i could do. i got it replaced.
