Is there any way to change the format of a video
by I am trying to piece together video clips in iMovie, but it only accepts files that can be played in quicktime, and not windows media. Is there any way to change windows media files into videos quicktime can play?

You'll have to convert the video to MPG or AVI. I believe Quicktime can play MPGs and AVIs without trouble.
There's a lot of software available to do this, but most of the free ones are for PC only. If you, I can attempt to convert it for you.
