by I only caught a few minutes of this episode (I've never watched this show before, but it seems prety good)
1) What's the deal with ABC and shows going fom 8:02 to 9:03? It almost makes me not want to watch these shows (Lost comes on before, but I want the choice to switch at the break to soemthing else.)
2) The show was about something called "Ice-5" which, if it came in contact with a person, would freeze dry them. If you want to read the book from where they took the idea, it's "Cat's Cradle" By Kurt Vonnegut. Only he calls it "Ice-9", and the story is much better.

in a nutshell: there is a huge "muller" device (aka big ball of water) over some city in russia make folks go bananas (homocidal zombies) and jack, irina, sydney, vaughn and nadia go there to shut it down. of course they save the day and in the process kill sophia/yelena and nadia turns into a homocidal zombie. irina gives vaughn her blessing to marry sydney, but reminds him that there can be secrets in a marriage, but not deception. the ep closes with vaughn confessing that his "good guy" status depends on what side youre on and that his name isnt even michael vaughn. ?!
OMG......OMG.....OMG.....i finally caught up.....i'm DYING!!!! THE worst (best) ending.

so what do you guys think about what irina says to Jack about nadia? that can allude to her being jacks or she could've said it because she and sloan are creeps
a bunch of people were over last night and we were watching alias. at the end no one was paying attention (they were fighting being antisocial), everyone but 3 people missed what vaughn said and when we told them they let out a keanu-like whoaaaa

what does everyone think about jen garner's pregnancy? the director made a joke that every alias will be pregnant. i find this funny. isnt he the same director that forbade keri russell from cutting her hair?

regarding vaughn and sidney, they lost they're on sreen spark too. it's like over acting when they're together. but i still love him!
Last night's episode i think was Garner's directoral debut. Not bad! it was pretty cool .. but like, what annoys me about this show is how one episode they're after one thing and in another episode they're after something else and what happened to Nadia's aunt and her weird skinny dude ... like.. no one cares? It's weird. What about Vaughn's dad? No one cares anymore? It's weird. I don't like how nothing really gets carried over to the next episode excpet stupid family drama.
you know whats funny, i never notice "direction" to me it seems like it all fits....now acting and story writing you can tell but directing? how can you tell? maybe thats a question for fivezero.
anyway vaughns dad was has been dead this whole time, it was just a set up from the cloned sloan that ties into nadia and sydney's. aunt.
the cloning goes back to the whole Rimbaldi prophecy....did you catch the first season?
i like how finally all the past episodes of this season came together, sorta. Sloane. Wow. Irina. Hot!
last night was kinda eh....i didn't like that little sloan clone, he's creepy like an oompa loompa!
it did make me sad how sloan didn't want to come out of his hypnotic state. he was almost human.

i figured he was impersonating him. its odd - he does the mannerisms and everything. the pursing lips and the two indexing fingers pointing - its freaky!

yes...i missed some of season two, but i am catching up with dvds. why? have there always been two mr sloanes?

BUT
sloan was an evil man who ran a team of agents trying to get these artifacts that would lead him to the writings of the "higher source" which they called "RIMBALDI". it was basically to rule the world. anyway these poor agents thought they were working for the CIA and did what he said, thinking they were the good guys. sydney became the double agent to take him down.
so the whole first season was sydney being double agent, she and her Dad (jack) to take down SD6 (the name of the fake "CIA" team) and all led to the destruction of SD6, and sloan. Sloan somehow escapes and finds some of the missing pieces of RImbaldi. in the writings there was something written about a "girl" that would appear to complete or reveal the prophecy of this Rimbaldi. the characteristics of the girl are that of Sydneys and there's a picture of sydney in that book saying that she weilds the power and will leash her fury into desolation.
season two:
they continue to look for sloan....by now he's like the Bin Laden of alias. this season reveals more on what sydney part is and her link to RImbaldi but you still dont get the full answers. they bring in her SD6 partner, they're computer wiz etc and she and vaughn start off their relationship. Anyway, sloan is heading up this new team called the alliance who are bigger and badder than SD6. so it goes through sloan with each passing time gets closer to the end of the prophecy of Rimbaldi. SLoan finally reaches his end with rimbaldi or close to it adn realizes it something to do with inner peace etc. Sydney finds out her mom was having an affair on her dad with sloan....

kam: i checked a alias fansite and it seems like they were all blindsided by the second sloane-they call him cloane (sloane and clone-gwash they are nerds) too.

anytime hun! seriously, rent the DVD's there's SO much going on that you need to see, from the others involved, how evil her mom is....evil peeps being changed into people that are supposed to be friends w/the good guys....all the twists in the plots....from evil sloan on the america's most wanted to heading up the CIA....watch em all.
This show is crazy, everyone's lying, you can't trust anyone, everyone has something to hide. It's too much for me!! I wouldn't survive in that environment, too much deception!!
oh yeah all lies PLUS they all know how to out manuever each other....it's crazy but i'm addicted!

alias was great last night, anybody watch? sidney and vaughn went undercover to a training facility in russia designed to simulate an american neighborhood. it was a bit stepford but very cool.
i watched it! i luv that show.
the whole setting was totally stepford...what about that scene when they were "shopping" for the convertible?? how crazy was that?
the funniest thing about alias is the whole running water to evade audio survailance. cmon is being a superspy that easy?

she's a CIA agent working secretly w/in the organization (now) and before she was working as a double agent to take down the bad guys, whereas now the head bad guy is amazingly her boss (again) with the CIA.
everytime i watch this show it makes me wanna join the CIA! hahaha
