Million Dollar Baby
by Well, I just got back from seeing this, and I must say, I didn't realize it was going to be so funny. Very good movie, highly suggest it. The end was not at all what I was expecting, and I don't want to say much more with out spoiling it for people who haven't seen it. You will definetly enjoy this movie, all 2 and half hours of it. You'll laugh, you'll get mad, you'll cry, and you'll walk away totally satisfied.

I really really liked this movie. I can definitely see now why Hillary won and Kate didn't. This was excellent. However, contrary to what I've heard, this movie does NOT make me want to be a boxer. It actually makes me really really NOT want to be a boxer. Hah.
it was very good, and you're right the award was well deserved.
i'm w/you, it didn't make me want to be a boxer either, maybe train as a boxer to get such a muscular body but thats it.
grrrr. hilary swank stole the oscar away from kate winslet.
I was very sad that kate winselt didn't win. Swank already has an oscar. Winslet was nominated 4 times with no win??? :( sadness
I see why Kate lost. I'm not happy about it, but Swank worked really hard, put on an accent, worked for a really demanding director [Eastwood]. I like Kate a lot better. I think she has more range and a better style over all. I'm a Kate fan. She was amazing in Etnernal Sunshine, for which Charlie Kaufman won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. Carey too. Just great.
yeah i think i have to see Million Dollar Baby to really understand this. heh.
