I liked the scene where Palpatine is interrupted by Mace and his posse with lightsabres lit.
Mace: You are under arrest Chancellor.
Palps: Are you threatening me Master Jedi!?!
Then Palps has a light sabre pop into his hand from underneath his sleave. And jumps over his desk with a Banshee type yell at the 4 Jedi.

Okay..when Obi-Wan is shouting, practically in tears, "You were supposed to be the chosen one!!" Yeah..I wanted to cry. And I don't cry at movies!
I think the whole line goes, "You were the chosen one!! It was said you would destroy the Sith, not join them. You were my brother Anakin....But I couldn't save you."

The story looks rock solid. I cannot see how this won't be the best SW film ever.

I've seen some of the dialogue and the dialogue on the trailer is cool. Having more of Darth Sidious/Palpatine will pay off big time. Ian McDiarmand is an awesome actor.
1- It can't be the best SW film ever because the original three are untouchable. I mean..In a New Hope when they're flying up to the Death Star all frightened and it's like the size of a marble hanging from a wire before them? That's so awesome!
2- George Lucas is obviously a baffoon who likes to change things up right before the movie comes out to make it suck. I think he enjoys pissing off his fans.
Come on, the prequels don't suck. Just because they aren't as good as the originals doesn't mean they're garbage. I enjoyed them thoroughly.
i think that jar-jar and hayden's acting ruined most of those two movies for me. :(
Come on. Jar Jar sucked, but he was no worse than the Ewoks. Hayden did a good job in the death scene of his mother and wiping out the Sand people. I'll agree he sucked at being a lover.
Everyone has too high of expectations. They expect the movies to be as good as Empire or it sucks. In fact many people hated Return of the Jedi, but 22 years later it is considered classic. So people need to get a life.
what made the movies so amazing is cause nothing like that was made before... hence everyone loves it and its classic... the newer fims wont have the same effect cause weve all seen Sci Fi movies before...

I think you hit the head on the nail. If the prequels were made back then people would be drooling over them as well.
i definitely agree, but i also think that the old star wars movies were just better in general: better actors, better storyline, etc
i agree on the actors. additionally, theres no smug han solo type character. suddenly the universe is populated by jedis and politicions. sucks.
You have to look at all 6 movies as one big movie. It starts out all happy and cheery (boring), then war erupts at the end of Ep. 2. Now from 3-6 we see a war torn galaxy. Yeah, people are going to like that as opposed to a Gungan walking around talking like a Jamaican. But I must say, that after seeing Ep 2, I liked Ep 1 better. I expect Ep 3 to make the whole prequel trilogy better. There are already some classic lines from the new trailer.
Also, there are quite a few lightsabre duels in Revenge of the Sith. In the trailer you see the following:
Anakin vs Dooku
Mace Windu and 3 other Jedi vs Palpatine/Darth Sidious
Obiwan vs General Grevous (If you saw the clone wars cartoons, he is the droid general who wields up to 4 lightsabres at once)
Yoda vs Palpatine/Darth Sidious
Obiwan vs Anakin/Darth Vader
The light saber battles just don't do it for me. Yeah, the new one are all "lets flip around" and cool..but it's almost too much. Like, would anyone really bounce off the walls while fighting?
I totally agree. I wish Jedis didn't always let the lightsabres do the talking. I really want a nice tearful and emotional arguement between Anakin and Obi-wan. And not in the midst of a duel! Maybe we'll get it. Along with 143627 lightsabre duels.

I liked the ewoks, but that's probably cause I was a kid when I first saw them.
If kids like Jar Jar, that's fine. But I couldn't understand half of the things Jar Jar was saying the entire movie, which was extremely frustrating. Also, the Ewoks didn't talk, which made them at least easy to understand or ignore.
And it's simply my opinion about Hayden. I just don't like his acting. To me, he's very flat and unconvincing. And out of everything else, he'll probably ruin Ep3 for me the most.
